What you can build
The API exposes the same building blocks the app is made of: clients, jobs, quotes, invoices, expenses and calendar entries. Use it to connect JobMistr to your own website, an internal dashboard, or a tool we don't integrate with yet.

Endpoints
A REST API under /api/v1, scoped to your account. Read your records as JSON, or push new leads straight into your pipeline. Lists are paginated and amounts come back as plain numbers.
- GET /api/v1/clients, /invoices, /quotes, /jobs, /expenses and /calendar — list, or fetch one by id
- POST /api/v1/leads — create a client and a pipeline deal from a website lead
Webhooks
Register an HTTPS endpoint and receive events in real time. Every delivery is signed (HMAC-SHA256) so you can verify it came from us, and failed deliveries are retried automatically.
- invoice.paid — an invoice has been settled
- invoice.overdue — an invoice has passed its due date
- job.completed — a job has been marked complete
Authentication
Create an API key in Settings and send it as a Bearer token (Authorization: Bearer jm_…, or the X-API-Key header). Keys are tied to your account, and usage counts toward your plan's monthly request allowance.
Availability
API access is included in the Business plan, along with white-label options and custom integrations. We onboard API users individually for now — tell us what you're building and we'll get you set up with keys and docs.
